The joys of being single

Ever since I've changed my Myspace status from married to single I've been getting the craziest e-mails from the weirdest guys! Some of them are funny and others are down right creepy! I've been deleting them as they come in, but I decided that I'll just save them and post for everyone to see the kind of stuff single women seem to go through on Myspace.

I'll be adding new ones as they come in. :)

Picking up where I left off...

I've decided to leave behind my wife and mommy blog and start fresh with this one. I think the name is pretty appropriate for the situation I've been thrown in to.

Basically I'm a 24 year old divorced mom to 2 boys... one of them isn't even here yet. I won't bore anyone with all the gory details of the break-up. (Although I'm sure you'd love to hear it. lol) This blog isn't about the past. It will be about what happens after the split.. in the present.

As soon as the decision was made final I started right away at putting the pieces of my new life together. Luckily I was living at my mom's house at the time so it made things just a little bit easier on my son and I.

First thing I did was open my own checking account and had the child support allotment set up there. Next I had to get my own storage unit and start the process of dividing up our stuff. That's still in the works unfortunately. It's been way to hot here to get anything done during the day. Then I made some goals for myself so that I was able to look forward to my future.

So far, so good.
